Main Purpose of the Role:
To lead on the delivery of high standard evidence based care and to provide evidence that the care being delivered meets the needs and wishes of people residing in the home and their family/friends/advocates.
To actively pursue continuous improvement and development in our standards of care.
To ensure that the care delivered meets regulatory and best practice standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible as Registered Manager (Care) to ensure that you use an audit and quality matrix to ensure that you can evidence care provision is:

e) Well Led
To oversee the provision of care and related services within the care home in accordance with Cornwall Care’s Policies and Procedures, and to comply with CQC Outcomes, Regulations, Quality, Compliance and Notifications, to deliver a service within the specification of any contract that exists.
To practice the principals and philosophy of person-centred care in accordance with Cornwall Care Policy and Procedure, including the Skills and Competency Framework.
To oversee the Care Needs/Dependency Assessments of existing and potential residents working closely and collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and delegating responsibility appropriately and effectively to the team.
To plan, develop, (personally) deliver and evaluate care which meets residents’ needs enabling them to exercise their right to privacy, dignity, independence, choice and fulfilment in a stimulating environment.
To delegate responsibility for care delivery appropriately whilst maintaining accountability, reviewing and evaluating care and service outcomes in order to strive for continual improvement and excellence working closely with customers, staff, their families and friends.
